Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña, its Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, and its Veterinary School, held the talk «Approach of basic gastrointestinal pathologies «, by Dr. Ariel Mendoza, veterinary zootechnical doctor.
The speaker addressed the different gastrointestinal pathologies in animals, diseases that attack the stomach. He also explained that these conditions are usually caused by bacteria, parasites, viruses and certain foods, such as milk and fats; sometimes by some medications.
The activity, held on July 5, 2023, aimed to provide students of Veterinary Medicine with the necessary knowledge about these conditions in animals.
