Dominican Students

High School Diploma or Certificate.
Original record of grades for the last four years from the school of origin.
Legalized Birth Certificate.
Three (3) photographs 2 x 2
Photocopy of Personal Identification Card and/or passport.
Admissions Application Form, duly completed.
All New-Entry candidates are submitted to a University Aptitude Test.

Steps to follow:

Watch for the publication in the newspapers with the call for admissions applications
Fill out the on-line admissions form
In the Admissions Office obtain the Presentation Card for the aptitude test.
Report to take the Aptitude Test in the place, on the date and at the time indicated on your Presentation Card.
If admitted, you must start the Enrollment Process on the date indicated.  Otherwise you must collect your documents in the Admissions Office.

Foreign Students

Students Coming From High School
Fill out the on-line admissions form
Birth Certificate translated into Spanish and stamped.
Good Conduct Certificate (issued by the authorities of the country where you have resided for the last two years)
Copy of Passport.
Medical Certificate.
Three (3) photographs 2×2
Take the University Aptitude Test in the UNPHU.
Admissions Fee
Transcription (record of grades) from 7th of middle school to 4th year of High School, translated into Spanish, stamped, and certified by the Ministry of Education of the Dominican Republic.

Students Transferring from another University (Transfers)

Fill out the on-line admissions form
Birth Certificate translated into Spanish and stamped.
Good Conduct Certificate (issued by the authorities of the country where the student has resided during the last two years)
Copy of Passport.
Medical Certificate.
Three (3) photographs 2×2
Copy of High School Diploma translated into Spanish, stamped, and validated by the Ministry of Education of the Dominican Republic.
Two (2) official transcripts from the university of origin.  One (1) of them in a sealed envelope sent directly to the UNPHU, and one (1) transcript for the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, duly stamped in its country of origin.
Two (2) Letters of Recommendation.
Admissions Fee.
Copy of the student visa.
Transcript (record of grades) from 7th grade of middle school to 4th year of High School, stamped and certified by the Ministry of Education in the Dominican Republic.

* ALL DOCUMENTS MUST BE ORIGINAL, TRANSLATED INTO SPANISH, AND DULY STAMPED.

* ALL DOCUMENTS DEPOSITED BECOME THE PROPERTY OF THE UNPHU.

* ALL FOREIGN STUDENTS MUST REQUEST A STUDENT VISA TO LEGALIZE THEIR STATUS IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

* FOR STUDENTS IN THE HEALTH SECTOR, WE RECOMMEND HAVING YOUR VACCINATIONS UP TO DATE (HEPATITIS B, TETANUS, POLIO, AND OTHERS) BEFORE ENROLLMENT.
